My full name is ADELOYE OLUWATOBI ISRAEL aka. Dedayo Adeloye, People also refer to me as “The Lagos Bearded Guy”
I’m honored to have won the One Location, One Shot Challenge Awards at the YouTube For Film Makers Event, where I crafted an entire short film in one breathtaking location, captured in a single shot, a challenge that forced me to think creatively and work innovatively, and I’m grateful for this recognition, which will inspire me to continue pushing boundaries and exploring new ways to tell stories in my future projects.
I was born and raised in Agege, Lagos State, where I discovered my passion for creativity at a young age. Growing up in Lagos exposed me to the city’s vibrant energy and diverse cultural influences, which have shaped my creative approach.
I started writing scripts and producing short films while still in school, which helped me develop my skills as a director, producer, scriptwriter, and more. This early start laid the foundation for my future projects and innovations.
It was an incredible honor to be recognized for my work, especially among such talented peers. The nominations validated my hard work and motivated me to continue pushing boundaries in media and entertainment.
One example is turning every chapter of my first book “God The Greatest Chef Of All Time” into a music album. This project allowed me to explore new ways of storytelling and creative expression.
“Gists & Thrills” is a casual, laid-back show aimed at enriching the online experiences of GEN Z. I use a segment called “The Soul Food at Twilight” to share inspiring stories, uplift, and motivate my audience.
